Good Deed of the Month: Homeless Women's Wellness & Spa Day
During May, we are collecting items for a group of volunteers who will be putting on a wellness and spa day for women in YWCA homeless shelters. Needs include lotions, nail polish, earrings, pretty scarves, scented candles, nice soap, and small first aid kits. Please drop off donations to the West Seattle Y or Fauntleroy Y front desks. Nickelsville Update: Thanks to YOU we delivered 2 tents, several big bags of clothes, lots and lots of sox, tools, flashlights and batteries, toothbrushes, toiletries, latex gloves and canned meals! Nickelsville community members helped unload the car and stack the boxes in the donations tent. They were very appreciative of everything donated! Thanks to everyone who helped!
The YMCA will be closed on Monday, May 28 for Memorial Day.
