The Global YMCA

The YMCA of Greater Seattle supports global community development through these efforts:

International - youth exchange, service learning and cross-cultural education
Global Service - trips for relief or development
Community Engagement of immigrant and newcomer populations
Movement Strengthening - increasing the capacity of Ys in developing countries to be self-sustaining
Ymicro.org - micro-philanthropy and microfinance combined in a “people to people” web-based platform

Today the YMCA is in 125 countries across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North America. Locally governed and managed, Ys serve people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes.
