Kids on Their Way Camp is a great way to get your kiddo kindergarten-ready. From art and science activities that spark their imaginations to exciting excursions in a Y bus, campers will work on developing the social, cognitive, and emotional skills to prepare them kindergarten. Certified Y staff combine fun and learning in a small group setting perfect for that the final summer before elementary school begins!

Note: For programs in the Auburn and Edmonds School Districts, camp starts June 27 and ends September 2.

What days and hours is Kids on Their Way Camp offered?

Kids on Their Way Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 am–4:00 pm. 

We offer Extended Camp at no additional cost to participants which consists of supervised activities and structured programs before and after the camp day​

Hours for Extended Camp start at 7:30 am and end at 5:30 pm.

There is no camp on July 4.

Is my kiddo the right age for Kids on Their Way Camp?

If your kiddo is entering Kindergarten in the fall and will be at least 5 years old by the first day of camp session, then yes, your little one can be a Kids on Their Way camper!

How soon can I sign my camper up for Kids on Their Way Camp?

Registration opens on Wednesday, February 2 at 6:00 am for the entire summer.

Weekly camp registration closes on the Wednesday prior to the camp session at 5:00 pm. For example, for camp starting on July 11, registration would close on July 6 at 5:00 pm.

Does the Y offer scholarships or financial assistance for Kids on Their Way Camp?

Yes, the Y is committed to ensuring all families have access to quality and enriching camp programs. The Y provides financial assistance and a sliding fee schedule.

What is the fee to participate in Kids on Their Way Camp?
  • Five-day weekly fees: $325 for Facility Members or $375 for Community Members.
  • Four-day weekly fees: $260 for Facility Members and $300 for Community Members.

A deposit of $15 per week, per camper is due upon registration. Payments draft on the Saturday two weeks prior to each camp session. For example, for camp starting on July 11, payment would draft on July 2.
