The Y is where families thrive together! Our live family classes and activities bring the Y community that you've grown to love home into your living room
Get ready for some family fun designed to teach and inspire youth through hands-on activities focused on themes like science, cooking or art. This program is geared towards the early learning preschool age group, with grownups included, and is free for Y members or $15 for community. We've included supply lists with each activity so that kids and grownups can participate in real-time with us!
Explore the curiosity of viscosity in this fun-filled day of lava! We’ll create Lava Lamps and Lava Slime which unlike real lava, these experiments will be COOL enough to touch.

The possibilities of shaving cream are endless. We’ll explore two experiments – creating Shaving Cream Play Dough and exploring the science of color mixing as we create shaving cream art!

Let’s read, sing, and dance! This live and interactive virtual family class will feature a story time with a book read by an engaging Y staff person plus songs, sharing, and silly dancing, all around a fun theme. This program is geared towards the early learning preschool age group, with grownups included, and is free for Y members or $15 for community.
Let’s celebrate a truly extraordinary individual, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! Sing songs, discuss heroes, and learn more about MLK, Jr. as we read our featured story Happy Birthday, Martin Luther King Jr. by Jean Marzollo.

We invite you to keep your video on and interact with the instructor and other participants as much as you are comfortable with. Virtual Family Classes give us the opportunity to play, learn, and connect with our Y community, from the safety of home!
