This beginner swim team program, for ages 12 to 16 years, builds upon skills participants have learned in swim lessons with a focus on stroke technique, conditioning, and endurance. This program is a great option for swimmers looking to cross train for other sports or looking to maximize fitness with a non-impact aerobic exercise. Practices for this group will be up to three days per week for one hour. Days and times will vary by location. Requirements: Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle with rotary breathing and 25 yards of backstroke. Competitive swimming experience and mastery of the four competitive strokes is not required.
