Salmon Watching Event - 9/24

Join City of Bothell staff person Janet Geer and retired NOAA Research Fisheries Biologist/YMCA member Orlay Johnson to find silver salmon/coho swimming up North Creek and building their egg nests.

Learn from Janet, Orlay, and other marine educators about the fish and the watershed. Orlay is also a Seattle Aquarium Beach Naturalist Supervisor and diver in the Aquarium?s dome.

Meet at the trail along the North Creek dikes.
Park at the YMCA, cross NE 195th Street on the mid-block cross walk and continue walking between the cottage and business parking lot to reach the trail at the top of the dike.

You can walk up the hill or use the stairs to the left in the business parking lot.

Dress for the weather, stream visit goes rain or shine.
Group will walk for about 2 miles on packed gravel or dirt trails after initial hill to trail.
