MMEM Youth And Government: Youth Legislature

Celebrating its 72nd year in Washington State, this non-partisan eight-month program is designed to give teens a hands-on experience running a model state legislature. Youth and Government provides teens the opportunity to become civically engaged in an environment that is not only educational, but exciting and fun. Students explore the meaning of civics and democracy by assuming the roles of various elected officials. Develop critical thinking, debate skills and a deeper understanding of the legislative process.
