Teens - Northshore Science in Action Club

Want to become a Citizen Scientist? Like Bugs? Join Northshore Science in Action Club! Created by the California Science Academy and endorsed by Woodland Park Zoo, this is a spring club dedicated to exploring our natural surroundings with scientific lenses while using STEM methods. Students will study bug species, plants, and our natural resources and actually share their findings with the scientific community. SAC meetings are held every Tuesday or Thursday afternoon (after consensus is reached with club members) at Northshore Y starting in April, with field trips to Mercer Slough and the Zoo. ?Club fees include Zoo and Mercer Slough field trips, a Science in Action Club t-shirt, and an end of the session pizza party! Clubs are held weekly and field trips fall on weekends. Club is in session from April- the start of June. For questions please contact astanley@seattleymca.org
