Introductory course in the engineering design process. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of engineers and robotics enthusiasts. In this course we'll be working through some space missions, where students will need to build simple mechanisms and program their robots to complete missions. We'll build upon the concepts learned in the first course from sensor identification to navigation control. We'll continue to leverage the Lego Mindstorms EV3 Education kit. No prior experience is necessary, although general Lego building knowledge is helpful. Instructor: Parent VOLUNTEERS, Mitch Tolson and Eric Kratzer. Mitch Tolson's Background - Mechanical Engineering Degree from UW, 6 years of First Robotics mentor experience including Stealth Robotics from Cedarcrest High School.
