Youth Basketball League - Boys (Duvall)

Its hoops time at the Y! This recreational basketball program is designed for youngsters to have fun while learning sportsmanship as well as basketball rules and skills. Games are played with age-appropriate equipment and lowered hoops for the younger groups.

YMCA youth sports encourage and promote healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators, by contributing their time as volunteer coaches - as well as being their kid's greatest fan.

You will register by grade level and your team will be determined by practice day preference and coach/buddy requests. Practices start the week of November 28th and games are played Fridays or Saturdays starting Jan. 6-7, 2017.

Team Selection Process: Teams will be determined by the director based on the total number of participants registered and what day, coach, and/or buddy preferences each participant has stated upon registration. This will ensure an even league throughout. If you list that you would like to volunteer to coach, you will be given priority choice and will be contacted to see which practice day/location you would like.
