S4 Kids U 2017-2018 | McAuliffe Scratch Coding

Students will develop coding skills in Scratch, an open source MIT application, and will explore basic programming concepts. When kids learn to code in Scratch, they learn important strategies and logics for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas. Students will do many hands-on exercises to learn the concepts. Finally, they will get engaged in creating their own video games and animated stories by themselves or in a team. Pre-requisites (Coding 101, or prior knowledge of scratch). Grades 2nd-5th.
