AOA Brightwater Treatment Plant Tour

Join us for a two-hour tour of the Brightwater Treatment Plant to learn how wastewater can be recycled into reusable water, energy, and nutrients for plans and soil. Tours encourage visitors to think about responsible water use, the products they use and how everyday choices can help protect Puget Sound. Participants must be able to walk approximately 1 mile and travel up and down multiple levels of stairs.Arrive at 1:15 pm for the tour that begins at 1:30 pm.Wear closed-toe walking shoes and dress for the weather as we will be outside for much of the tour.There is no YMCA transportation for this activity. Please drive yourself or carpool.
