This class is for kids ages 5-12 who love to get involved in making their own healthy meals. Your young chef will have a blast learning fundamental kitchen skills, age-appropriate cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and important nutrition facts. Students will learn basic cooking skills during this 4 session class. Responsibility will be divided up based on behavior, age and willingness to learn! What's on the menu? Week 1: Breakfast Fruit Pizzas; Southwest Chicken Salad. Week 2: Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins; Baked Sausage, Spinach, and Egg Taquitos. Week 3: Strawberry Oatmeal Bars; Pasta Salad. Week 4: Spinach Lasagna Rolls; Banana Smoothie.
