Tai Chi-balance & Strength 10 week class

Tai Chi for Strength and Balance is a Tai Chi short form specifically designed as a gentle exercise to improve strength, balance and mobility. It was developed by Troyce Thome, 12 year Master Trainer for the Tai Chi for Health Institute, based on traditional Sun Style movements. Sun Style Tai Chi is ideal for working on posture, gait and balance because it has a higher stance and more closely resembles the way we walk. Class will include:

. Warm Up Exercises
. Learning the Tai Chi Form
. Cool Down Exercises

The Warm Up Exercises gently move the muscles and open the joints. Form Learning consists of form flow-through practice, learning a specific movement, answering questions and then another flow-through practice. The Cool Down Exercises relax and oxygenate the muscles.
