Yoga for Stress Resilience

In this ongoing series, we will continue our exploration of yoga as a therapeutic antidote to stress: slowing down, doing less, and open to receiving. By practicing the majority of poses lying down or seated on the floor, we take the weight off the body and thereby reduce stress. We will be gently stretching the body in active postures before settling into passive restorative poses fully supported by props all within a still, quiet, and warm environment.

This series will address ways to:

  • Release muscle tension
  • Quiet the mind
  • Balance the nervous system
  • Promote restful sleep
  • Heal the body from inside out

Cost: YMCA Members: $4 per class / Non-members: $14 per class

No classes November 11 or 18.

You may register per class, or for the entire series up front.
