Workshop - SleepyTime Yoga for Adults
In this session a variety of techniques including guided imagery and body scanning are used to aid relaxation. Class will begin with 10-min of minimal, gentle movements, to help release any stiffness before becoming still. Followed by savasana, lying on the back, for the remainder of the class. It is intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. This practice is helpful for stress reduction, insomnia, fatigue, depression, and anxiety as well as general well-being. Bring an eye pillow or small cloth to cover your eyes to enhance the experience! A personal pillow and blanket would be great too.
