Workshop - Alignment Yoga
If you have never tried yoga or are looking to refine your practice, this 2-day workshop will teach you the basics of alignment yoga to get you started on an enjoyable yoga practice or take your yoga to the next level. Class format will be interactive and instructional with opportunities for individual coaching. Alignment yoga focuses attention on anatomical body alignment to enhance the benefits of each pose and help students enjoy a safe practice adapted to personal strength and flexibility. Day 1 covers seated, balancing and standing poses. Day 2 covers forward folds, backbends and twists, covering common basic poses students would encounter in yoga classes.
