NIA® Five Sensations
Condition your body while dancing to the Five Sensations of Nia!Nia teaches us to access the five sensations of Nia (FAMSS: flexibility, agility, mobility, stability, strength). These give us the physical scaffolding to re-build the structure of our tissues and to re-organize our nervous system. Sensation science allows you to understand your own body, to know its function. In doing so, you can begin to achieve dynamic ease - a distinct physical sensation of effortless power. We will review and explore each sensation the first 30 minutes then we will have a very fun and playful one hour Nia class.
