Alignment Yoga Class Series

If you have never tried yoga or are looking to refine your practice, this workshop style 4-week class will teach you the basics of alignment yoga to get you started on an enjoyable yoga practice or take your yoga to the next level. Class format will be interactive and instructional with opportunities for individual coaching. Alignment yoga focuses attention on anatomical body alignment to enhance the benefits of each pose and help students enjoy a safe practice adapted to personal strength and flexibility. Throughout the 4-week workshop we will cover basics of spinal alignment, standing poses, seated poses, downward facing dog technique, alignment based twists and backbends, and sun salutations.
