Aikido Self-Defense for Women Workshop

Aikido, the Way of Harmony, is a unique martial art. Aikido is an excellent mind/body workout as well as a way to develop your self-defense skills. You may begin training at any level of physical fitness. Benefits include flexibility, focus, balance and increased physical fitness. The atmosphere of an Aikido class is formal but friendly and noncompetitive.

This Introductory Workshop is intended for the student with no previous martial arts experience. It introduces the new student to basic movements, techniques and safe falling. The pace of the classes is designed to meet you where you are, and help you succeed.

Must be able to sit down on the floor and get back up, unassisted. No issues with bone fragility. Dress in comfortable clothes. Women only
