AOA Walk: Yost Park and Waterfront/Edmonds

No driving, no car to park, no trail passes to worry about. Welcome to hiking with the Y! Both avid hikers and newcomers will have a good time getting out and meeting others on a Y hike.

For the Edmonds Yost Park and Waterfront walk:
Distance: up to 5 miles
Elevation: 220 ft in Yost Park, 0 along waterfront
Difficulty: beginner

Yost Park contains one of the few areas of native vegetation that remain in Edmonds. The mixed stands of western red cedar, red alder, big leaf maple and western hemlock trees offer a glimpse into the past, and the future. The park is situated along Shell Creek and the deep ravine its waters carved over time
