AOA Walk - Washington Park Arboretum/Seattle

No driving, no car to park, no trail passes to worry about. Welcome to hiking with the Y! Both avid hikers and newcomers will have a good time getting out and meeting others on a Y hike. For the Washington Park Arboretum walk: Distance: 3 miles Elevation: generally flat with some rolling hills and stairs Difficulty: beginner The Arboretum is a hidden gem on the shores of Lake Washington. Jointly managed by the University of Washington Botanic Gardens and the City of Seattle, its 230 acres are a dynamic assortment of plants, some found nowhere else in the Northwest. The Arboretum provides miles of trails for exploration and contemplation. We will walk on the new loop trail. Minimum of 3 participants required to hold each walk. 5 spots available for each outing on the Metro Community Van. Registration closes 48 hours before walk. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of walk. If the leaders see that forecasted weather will impact the walk, you will be notified of trip cancellation and given a refund/credit.
