AOA Hike - Discovery Park/Seattle

No driving, no car to park, no trail passes to worry about. Welcome to hiking with the Y! Both avid hikers and newcomers will have a good time getting out and meeting others on a Y hike.

For the Discovery Park hike:
Distance: 5.1 miles roundtrip
Elevation: 380 feet, highest point 345 feet
Difficulty: experienced beginner/medium

Head up to the South Meadow for the views, then go down to the beaches and get up close to the West Point Lighthouse. Come back up to the park highlands for a close look at old buildings in the Fort Lawton Historic District.

Meet the YMCA bus in front of the Northshore YMCA at 9:15 am for 9:30 am departure. We will return to the YMCA by 3:30 pm.
Bring some spending money for a sweet treat on the way home.

Minimum of 3 participants required to hold each hike.
13 spots available for each outing.
Registration closes 48 hours before hike.
No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of hike.
If the leaders see that forecasted weather will impact the hike, you will be notified of trip cancellation and given a refund/credit.
