AOA Hike: Boulder River/Arlington

No driving, no car to park, no trail passes to worry about. Welcome to hiking with the Y! Both avid hikers and newcomers will have a good time getting out and meeting others on a Y hike.

For the Boulder River hike:
Distance: up to 8.6 miles roundtrip, group decides
Elevation: 700 feet, highest point 1550 feet
Difficulty: beginner
Boulder River is a relatively easy, popular hike off the Mountain Loop Highway. All will enjoy the gentle grade and views of the waterfalls crashing into the river from the steep banks opposite the trail, while those who continue along the up and downs to the trails? end will be rewarded by a nice lunch spot beside the wild river.

Meet the YMCA bus in front of the Northshore YMCA at 9:15 am for 9:30 am departure. We will return to the YMCA by 3:30 pm.
Bring some spending money for a sweet treat on the way home.

Minimum of 3 participants required to hold each hike.
13 spots available for each outing.
Registration closes 48 hours before hike.
No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of hike.
If the leaders see that forecasted weather will impact the hike, you will be notified of trip cancellation and given a refund/credit.
