This leadership-based expedition for young women rafts through 63 miles of the pristine Main Salmon and Snake Rivers in Idaho. The Snake River is the longest free-flowing river in the lower 48 states, and the second deepest gorge on the continent! It's over a thousand feet deeper than the Grand Canyon! Emphasis will be placed on expeditionary wilderness skills, river safety, and leadership, as well as cultivating a connection to this breathtaking ecosystem. Our professional river guides are trained in geology, biology, group management, and outdoor education. Your experienced in GOLD instructors will also teach you about this dynamic water source, the wildlife, geology, and astronomy as well as conservational stewardship of this very special place. This adventure will be fun, positive, and challenging. You will build great friendships with spectacular memories to last a lifetime! Just ask any of our alumnae!
