The Metro Transit Instruction program works with senior citizens and individuals with disabilities to safely and confidently travel on public transportation in King County.
The escorted instructional outing will help you build confidence by using your new skills while traveling on Metro buses with the instructor. You will have the chance to practice what you learned during the presentation.
During this instructional outing, Metro pays all transportation costs. Depending on the destination chosen for the outing, you may need to pay extra for food or admission fees. The instructor will inform you of possible added costs at the June 12 presentation.
Attendance at the presentation is a prerequisite for going on the community instructional outing. Additional outings will be scheduled to accommodate all who attend the presentation.
Registration closes 48 hours before the presentation.
Attend Senior Health and Fitness Day on Wednesday, May 31 to get your ORCA public transportation pass for future riding on the bus and ferry.
