Are you an YESC Alum?

Since 1989 young people have grown as leaders and addressed the environmental issues facing our world through participating in the YMCA Earth Service Corps. For many these opportunities instilled a lifelong ethic of stewardship that drives them as educators, engineers, scientists and volunteers.

What all YESC alumni share is the knowledge that we are responsible for our environment; we are part of a group dedicated to service and creating a more sustainable world. We want this group to continue to be involved with each other, and YMCA Earth Service Corps.

We'd love to hear from you! Join our Alumni Registry to stay in the loop, get updates and learn about opportunities! Please contact us at or 206.587.6116 with any questions, stories, ideas, feedback, etc.

Annual Support Campaign

Volunteers are essential to all aspects of our YMCA Earth Service Corps. Contributing as a volunteer offers engagement with YESC and you help move our mission forward. We hope you see an opportunity that fits your interests. If you have a specific skill or service to share, or are looking for different project possibilities, please contact us at or 206.587.6116.

School based clubs, service projects, the Environmental Leaders Summit and Environmental Symposium rely on the money raised during our Annual Support Campaign. Each winter, volunteers give their time to support youth in our community by raising these essential funds. Join the team!

Roles include:

  • Your Voice! Share your YESC impact story through newsletter and media

  • Campaigner! Ask your friends & networks to support YESC

  • Host! Host a giving dinner, wine tasting or Bunco/card tournament
