As the largest provider of housing services for homeless young adults in King County, 280 young people have a safe place to sleep on any given night thanks to the Y. We are also the only provider of independent living services for youth aging out of foster care. These young people are at much higher risk of becoming homeless. When basic needs are met, everyone has a better chance of reaching their full potential and our community, in turn, grows stronger.
While we’re proud of our success, there are still nearly 1,500 homeless young adults sleeping in unsafe places throughout King County. We know we need to do more for our young neighbors in need, but we cannot do it alone. We need you.
Ways to Help
Give Help. Give Hope. Give Today.
We rely on financial contributions from our generous neighbors to keep our young adult housing programs available for those in need. Give help, hope, and home with a donation today on our secure online giving site.
Our programs can only go so far to help young people as they transition into adulthood. Gifts donated through our Amazon Wishlist provide young adults with basic supplies for their first apartment, like bedding, kitchenware, and other necessities.
