Safety is Our Highest Priority

Your safety is our highest priority. Our vaccine policy is based on the most recent King County health order and is intended to help protect visitors, staff, and our county’s health care system, and prevent business closures by slowing the spread of the Delta variant in King County. Thank you for all that you are doing to help keep yourself, our staff, and our community safe at the Y.

Beginning October 25, 2021, people ages 12 and older will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result from the last 3 days to enter certain indoor establishments in King County, including the Y. This health order does not apply to children aged 11 or younger because they are not yet eligible to be vaccinated. If someone is unable to show proof of vaccine status or negative test results at the time of their visit, they will be unable to enter the Y.

Alternatives to Vaccine Verification

If you're not fully vaccinated, you can still visit us at the Y. Please show staff proof of a negative PCR test from the last 3 days when you check-in. We are unable to accept rapid tests or antibody tests as proof of negative test results. Find a testing site near you >
