Safety for All
There is nothing more important to us than the safety of you, our members, our staff, and our volunteers.
Thanks for all that you do to keep community safe in and outside the Y.
Guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local health agencies, and public officials has been critical as we've updated our policies and planned for your return.
Professional cleaning every night and a twice-daily deep clean of high-touch areas. Includes restrooms, railings, elevators
More hand sanitizers, hand-washing stations, and disinfectants
Continuous surface cleaning by staff, including on the fitness floor
Gradual capacity increase to comply with local and state guidelines
Redesigned areas and signs to enforce appropriate distance between members while exercising
Self-scan options when available, including at membership check-in
Another important aspect of our safety plan is improved air quality in our buildings, including limiting air re-circulation and maximizing fresh air intake. Learn more about air quality from our Facilities Executive, Josh:
It's up to all of us to keep each other safe. Any person who does not comply with safety and social distancing policies may be asked to leave the Y and visit us again at another time.
