Remain a Member or Request to Change Your Membership Status

You have a number of options for your membership during our temporary closure:

Option 1: Continue Supporting the Y with Membership Dues and Use Member Benefits

Members who choose to pay their monthly membership dues are our Sustaining Members – because they are helping us be resilient during this chaotic time.

As a member, you get access to:

  • Sustaining Member Y Bucks to use when we reopen. You can use these Y Bucks on upcoming membership dues and a variety of programs. These Y Bucks must be used within 90 days of our reopening date. Learn more >
  • Access to a growing number of programs as we reopen, including small group exercise and Lose to Win classes.

There is no action you need to take to remain a member. In the meantime, check out all that we are planning for your welcome back to the Y.

Option 2: Turn Your Dues into a Donation

Instead of collecting Sustaining Member Y Bucks, you can turn your dues into a donation. This tax-deductible donation covers all dues you paid during our closure.

Option 3: Place Your Membership on Hold or Cancel

Placing your membership on hold will pause your membership dues until we reopen. Members on hold:

  • Will still be able to use Sustaining Member Y Bucks earned from March-June
  • Do not need to fill out a new membership application or scholarship request when they return to the Y

Start a Hold

If you need to cancel your membership, you may do so at any time. Your cancellation will occur at the end of your current monthly membership cycle.

Request Membership Cancellation

By cancelling your membership, you will be no longer be eligible for any Sustaining Member Y Bucks. If you choose to rejoin the Y at a later date, you may be charged a join fee and may need to complete a new membership application and/or scholarship request.
