Colman - Traditional Camps

All gender, grades listed below for each session are based on what campers will be entering in fall 2023.

The YMCA Camp Colman program is designed to allow each camper to have a safe and fun experience in a beautiful natural setting. Campers are groups by grade and gender identity in comfortable cabins with electricity and bathrooms. We are also excited to offer an All-Gender session where cabin groups are only grouped by grade. Each day campers have opportunities for structured and unstructured play, skill development and making new or deeper friendships with other campers. The traditional camp experience includes activities such as archery, arts & crafts, swimming, boating, climbing, soccer, imaginative play, drama, challenge course initiatives sand more. Each evening campers participate in larger group activities. Each day ends with the camp community coming together for campfire, often featuring campers, followed by cabin groups participating in a Values Session, designed to encourage reflection and personal growth.
