In the Healthy Living Room, find the virtual classes and resources that work for you including on-demand workouts and live classes, resources for keeping your brain and body healthy, and plenty of active activities for families.

The Family Room brings the Y into your home with live and on-demand virtual content designed to engage kids, teens, and families. Try intentional moments to calm the soul, STEAM projects to keep minds moving and learning, family games to share laughs and smiles, or bring the magic of summer to your home with camp fun.

    Whether you're looking to build strength and stamina or ease stress and relax the body, we've got a live virtual workout for you in virtual Y. Many are also offered for free for all on Facebook Live. Learn more >

    Join us for a virtual and interactive cooking class focused on nutritious and delicious foods, all from the comfort of home. Each class will begin with a presentation of information related to the topic and conclude with a live cooking demonstration. Recipes to recreate the delicious and healthy meals are provided.   • Poetry Workshop | June 25, 12:00 - 1:00pm and Ongoing
    Poetry is a wonderful way to convey emotions, share ideas, and entertain the audience all in one. Join a local Y member and widely-published poet, Terry Busch, to discover your creative writing side. This special workshop meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays each month on Zoom and is free and open to the community. Learn more >

  • Camp in a Box | Summer
    During summer, the Y's Camp in a Box brings the magic of summer camp to wherever you are. Each week, the box will be filled with the tools you need to explore the great nearby, including classic camp activities like arts and crafts and hands-on STEM projects (science, technology, engineering and math). Plus, campers will stay connected with each other and their counselor through twice daily interactive meetings. Learn more >

    Take Tae Kwon Do virtually! Students learn punches, blocks, and self-defense techniques, but kicks are the Tae Kwon Do trademark. Sessions start regularly. Learn more >

Teens

  • Youth Legislature | Year-Long Program
    Become familiar with the legislative process, the art of debate, and public speaking, all online from home! Alongside their peers, students will have the opportunity to study current issues, draft legislative bills, debate topics important to them, and assume the roles of various elected officials.   • YMCA Earth Service Corps | Ongoing Events
    Our planet's future depends on us. In Earth Service Corps, teens meet virtually to take on the environmental issues facing their communities, hear from guest speakers, and create projects to address these needs. Learn more >
