The Y Is Near You

The YMCA of Greater Seattle has two locations in South King County, Auburn Valley YMCA and Matt Griffin YMCA. The Kent YMCA is under construction and opens in the fall of 2019. But the services we provide extend beyond the walls of our facilities. We’re bringing the kinds of programs and services that provide new opportunities to all people, and form the backbone of healthy communities. Discover a community committed to supporting each other to be healthy, confident and connected.

The Y is Where Kids Thrive

We’re working together for happy and healthy kids. We pride ourselves on making sure children are safe around water. Formal swim lessons have proven to reduce the risk of drowning by 88% among children ages 1-4. While starting young is recommended, it is never too late to learn to swim.
