Moving for Better Balance is an evidenced based falls prevention program. Using the principles and movements of Tai Chi, the 12 week program helps older adults improve their balance and increase their confidence in doing everyday activities. Lead by a Tai Chi trained instructor, the program focuses on improving functional ability, especially balance, to reduce fall-related risks and fall frequency. Participants increase their self confidence, gain a sense of achievement, and improve their well-being in a safe environment.
