AOA Hike: Arboretum/Seattle

No driving, no car to park, no trail passes to worry about?Welcome to hiking with the Y! Both avid hikers and newcomers will have a good time getting out and meeting others on a Y hike.

For the Arboretum hike:
Distance: 3 miles
Elevation: generally flat with some rolling hills and stairs
Difficulty: beginner

The Arboretum is a hidden gem on the shores of Lake Washington. Jointly managed by the University of Washington Botanic Gardens and the City of Seattle, its 230 acres are a dynamic assortment of plants, some found nowhere else in the Northwest. The Arboretum provides miles of trails for exploration and contemplation.

Meet the YMCA bus in front of the Northshore YMCA at 8:45 am for 9:00 am departure. We will return to the YMCA by 3 pm.
Bring some spending money for a sweet treat on the way home.

Minimum of 3 participants required to hold each hike.
13 spots available for each outing.
Registration closes 48 hours before hike.
No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of hike.
If the leaders see that forecasted weather will impact the hike, you will be notified of trip cancellation and given a refund/credit.
