The YMCA of Greater Seattle is a Membership Organization open to all people. Through the generosity of donors, we are able to provide programs and services to those who may not otherwise be able to participate. Financial assistance, to the extent possible, is available to those in need.

Special Accommodations
If you cannot afford the full cost of a YMCA program or membership, you may apply for financial assistance. Financial assistance, to the extent possible, is available to those in need. You may ask for a confidential assistance application at any local YMCA of Greater Seattle or click here. All YMCA members receive the same membership benefits, regardless of scholarship assistance.

How to Apply
For Membership:
Stop by the member services department at your local YMCA of Greater Seattle. Click here for a location near you. To process your application, we need the following information:
- Copy of last year's tax return
- Copy of current pay stub or
- Copy of social security or disability check

Confidential Financial Assistance Application
The YMCA will review the application to determine financial assistance eligibility and you will be contacted of your local branch if your award has been approved.
For Assistance on Specific Programs:
Contact the Program Director of your local YMCA for specific program financial assistance by filling out the form below. This includes assistance with on-line program registrations.
Fund Availability
Financial assistance is available to anyone based on family income, number of household members, and the availability of YMCA funds. Assistance is provided on a fair and open basis, in accordance with our donors' wishes. Financial Assistance is provided on a first come, first served basis. Contact your local branch for current availability.
