We're growing:  New tools for changing communities

Life in the 21st century is more complex than ever before.  The greater Seattle region is experiencing tremendous growth in size, population and diversity.  Families, individuals, youth and older adults consistently turn to their local YMCA for help in navigating everyday challenges and opportunities.  Many of our YMCAs, however, are unable to keep pace, requiring new facilities to address these trends and strengthen communities.
To address these trends, the YMCA of Greater Seattle launched the historic $40 million It's All About Community! Capital Campaign in 2006.  Through the campaign we're building three new state-of-the-art facilities, making improvements to three existing facilities and increasing the YMCA endowment fund.
