Why invest in positive solutions?
Help make your community a better place through the YMCA. Join with donors who share the belief that regardless of the challenges children, teens or families face, their unique talents can be strengthened. Your donation supports YMCA programs and facility development, the critical tools that give vulnerable community members a greater chance for success.
Your gift is greatly appreciated and fully deductible as a charitable contribution. The YMCA is a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization under IRS code.
For more than 20 years, in the Newport Hills community, the YMCA has earned its reputation for innovation and effectiveness in a diverse range of programs that bring out the best in people. The support of generous donors helps guarantee that this commitment will continue for generations to come.
Contributions to the YMCA Partners With Youth Campaign support positive, values-based programs for children and families. Your donation stays in our community, with 95 cents of every dollar going to life-enhancing programs and financial assistance.
The Coal Creek Family YMCA is included in the YMCA's Capital Development Program, thanks to significant groundwork laid by volunteers over the last two years. For more information or to find out how to get involved as the YMCA continues on this exciting effort, contact Michele Petitti at (425) 282-1515 or mpetitti@seattleymca.org.
Gifts to the YMCA's Endowment Fund provide a stable, enduring source of funding that protects the YMCA's ability to positively influence the community for generations to come. Endowed funds are held in perpetuity according to donors' wishes and wisely invested. A portion of the interest earnings is used as designated for program support, college scholarships, financial assistance for low-income participants, facility maintenance, international initiatives and general YMCA support.

How to designate your online gift
Unrestricted gifts support the YMCA's work throughout our community and provide the most flexibility. You may direct your gift to benefit a YMCA branch, specific program, capital project or named endowment fund. On the "designation" line, simply indicate how you would like your gift directed when you complete the form at Network for Good. You may also dedicate your gift on behalf or in memory of an individual.
Confidentiality of your gift
Your gift to the YMCA is held in the strictest confidence by Network for Good and the YMCA. Your information will not be sold, rented or traded to any other organization or company. Online transactions are secured through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Unless anonymity is requested, the names of donors of $1,000 or more will be listed in the YMCA's Annual Report and the fall issue of the YMCA of Greater Seattle's newsletter, Impact.
