Why invest in positive solutions?
Your gift to the Partners With Youth Campaign will provide much needed assistance, through scholarships and program support, to youth and families in our community who would otherwise be unable to participate in the safe and nurturing programs. Thank you, in advance, for joining us in making the Northshore YMCA a place for everyone in our community.

What will my gift do?
For more than 28 years in the Northshore community, the YMCA has earned its reputation for innovation and effectiveness in a diverse range of programs that bring out the best in people. The support of generous donors helps guarantee that this commitment will continue for generations to come.
Contributions to the YMCA Partners With Youth Campaign support positive, values-based programs for children and families. Your donation stays in our community, with 95 cents of every dollar going to life-enhancing programs and financial assistance.
Here are a few ways your gift directly impacts children and teens:
$100 provides four youth with the opportunity to participate in a team sport.
$250 sends a child to a month of half-day preschool.
$500 empowers two families with one year of participation in the Kid’s Gym Program.
$1,000 provides 15 disadvantaged children with the opportunity to take a six-week session of swimming lessons to learn essential water safety skills.
$1,500 enrolls a child in three months of before and afterschool child care.
Gifts to the YMCA's Endowment Fund [linked to main planned giving and endowment page] provide a stable, enduring source of funding that protects the YMCA's ability to positively influence the community for generations to come. Endowed funds are held in perpetuity according to donors' wishes and wisely invested. A portion of the interest earnings is used as designated for program support, college scholarships, financial assistance for low-income participants, facility maintenance, international initiatives and general YMCA support.

A Mother’s Gratitude
In my eyes, kids are our most valuable resource. Their early influences are reflected in the adults they become. The footprints the YMCA makes on the lives of children is a gift to society and to the parents of the kids. Speaking as a single mother, I feel that my son Kaden is an extension of me, he is part of me and wherever he is, a piece of me is there too. I remember when I brought him home from the hospital, what a new feeling it was to have something that was so close to my heart and my instinct was to protect him. As with all parents, I am concerned with my son’s safety and well-being.
The YMCA has my full trust and faith in the care Kaden receives and that is a gift I can never repay. We will not forget the preschool program and the generous assistance that has made his attendance possible. The YMCA has played a vital role in my own growth towards independence and in the growth of Kaden as a special individual. Thank you from our hearts.
