Work Weekend - October 15th - 17th
Camp Orkila hosts a volunteer work weekend throughout the year. It is a great way for you and your family to connect with camp, share your talents working on specific projects and have lots of fun at camp.
Examples of projects are:
Trail Clean-up
Storm Clean-up
Archery/Riflery Clean-up
Campfire clean-up
Cabin Clean-up
Barn work
Dock float repair
Clear the site for a new campsite
And much, much more!
Families are welcome to attend, however childcare and recreational programming is not provided. Please, no unaccompanied minors. Lodging, food and transportation from the Orcas Ferry Landing are provided. Please call 206-382-5009 for reservations. Click here for additional information.

Womens Wellness Weekend
Tucked away on beautiful Orcas Island in the San Juans, YMCA Camp Orkila provides the ideal setting for a weekend getaway. Bring your friends and come enjoy the spectacular view of Presidents Channel and over 280 acres of beach and forest. Orkila is the perfect place to relax and play. Enjoy walks on the beach, archery, arts and crafts, biking in the forest, riflery, visits to the farm, kayaking, ropes course, climbing wall and giant swing. Strengthen your body with activities such as yoga, aerobics, kickboxing, circuit training and fitness walks Replenish your spirit with a massage, a walk on the beach or a facial. Creative crafts will include jewelry making, batiking, painting and pottery.
