From Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia
1. Take I-5 into Tacoma
2. Take WA Highway 16 (exit #132) west toward Gig Harbor/Bremerton.
3. Go past Gig Harbor and take the Hwy 302 exit to Purdy/Key Center. Signs for Joemma Beach will let you know that you are going the correct way.
4. At the stop light (presently a 76 gas station) turn left and cross the water.
5. Follow the main road through Key Center making no turns. The road does make a slight Y before Key Center, stay to the left following the main road.
6. Continue through Home. Just at the edge of Home you will cross a bridge. One mile beyond the bridge, turn right on Whiteman Road.
7. After 2.3 miles, take a sharp right onto Bay Road.
8. Go about 1 mile and take the gravel road to the left of the Y. (Going right will take you to Joemma Beach.) Follow along the water, over the spit road and into camp.
9. Park in the parking lot and walk to the main lodge.
From Bremerton
1. Follow HWY 3 south past Bremerton, take HWY 16 south towards Tacoma.
2. Take the Purdy/Key Center exit into Purdy.
3. Turn right at the 76 gas station.
4. See number 5 thru 9 in the From Seattle directions.
From Southworth (via the ferry from Fauntleroy)
1. From the ferry landing, take Sedgewick Road to HWY 16
2. Go East toward Tacoma
3. See number 2 thru 4 in the From Bremerton directions

From 1-5 South of Downtown
Take the Madison Street Exit. Turn right on Madison. You will pass several of the parking options on 7th/8th Avenue and Madison - about four blocks up-hill from the YMCA. Between Fourth and Fifth you will see the entrance to the Union Bank of California garage, which is directly across the street from the YMCA. Parking is also available in the IDX building, next to the Downtown YMCA.
From I-5 North of Downtown
Take the James Street Exit. Turn left on James to 5th Avenue. On your right side you will see several parking options. Many of these lots are a 5 - 6 block walk to the YMCA. Or you can park in the Bank of California garage, across the street from the YMCA, between Fourth and Fifth Avenue. Parking is also available in the IDX building, next to the Downtown YMCA.
