Partner Agencies
The Windermere Foundation and the University Family YMCA have been partners since 2006. The Windermere Kids at the Y program continues to positively impact the after-school enrichment and child care needs of low-income families. The collaborative efforts of Windermere and the YMCA successfully created a program that provides broad impact while still allowing individual sites to respond to specific local needs. The University Family YMCA is a Member Agency of the University District Service Providers Alliance. The University District Service Providers Alliance (UDSPA) is a coalition of agencies working together to create a comprehensive continuum of services for homeless and street-involved youth and young adults. The purpose of the UDSPA is to help member nonprofits share resources and work together efficiently as we pursue the shared mission of offering a full spectrum of compassionate, quality care to Seattle's homeless and street-involved youth and young adults. The University Family YMCA is a Member of Prevention Works in Seattle. The community coalition in northeast Seattle formed in 2007 to put programs into place to reduce underage drinking. The purpose is to work with schools, agencies, and the community programs that are working to protect our youth. The coalition provides tools for parents and students they need to avoid underage drinking. Click here for a list of our programs and activities. The coalition's work is currently supported through a state grant but our effectiveness relies on your support so we invite you to explore our website,
