The Anacortes ferry landing is about 90 minutes north of Seattle.
The ferry ride from Anacortes to Orcas is about 80 minutes.
The drive from Orcas Ferry Landing to camp is 20 minutes.
Take I-5 North to Exit 230 (Hwy. 20) which is North of Mt. Vernon. The exit will say Burlington, Anacortes, and San Juan Ferry. Turn left at the end of the exit onto Highway 20. Drive west about 20 miles to Anacortes. Follow the signs in Anacortes to the San Juan Ferry.
At the ferry landing, purchase your ticket to Orcas Island. The ferry boat ride will be approximately 1 1/2 hours.
When you arrive at Orcas and depart the ferry, turn left and stay on the main road (Horseshoe Highway) following the signs to Eastsound for about 10 miles.
At Eastsound the road forks and becomes Lover's Lane.
Follow the fork to the left towards the airport.
When you come to the airport, the road curves to the right. Do not curve to the right.
Instead, turn left onto Mt. Baker Road.
Go up the hill about 1 mile.
Camp Orkila will be on the left at the end of Mt. Baker Road.
Drive into camp and follow the signs to the parking lot.
Once you arrive at camp, please check in at the Office and receive your visitor's pass. Visitors are not allowed in camp without a pass.

From 1-5 South of Downtown
Take the Madison Street Exit. Turn right on Madison. You will pass several of the parking options on 7th/8th Avenue and Madison - about four blocks up-hill from the YMCA. Between Fourth and Fifth you will see the entrance to the Union Bank of California garage, which is directly across the street from the YMCA. Parking is alsoavailable in the IDX building, next to the Downtown YMCA.
From I-5 North of Downtown
Take the James Street Exit. Turn left on James to 5th Avenue. On your right side you will see several parking options. Many of these lots are a 5 - 6 block walk to the YMCA. Or you can park in the Bank of California garage, across the street from the YMCA, between Fourth and Fifth Avenue. Parking is also available in the IDX building, next to the Downtown YMCA.
