MOPS
Mothers of preschoolers is a positive and caring network designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten.  MOPS groups meet in churches and other venues throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries.  The women are of many ages & backgrounds, but share the same desire--to be the best mothers they can be!  Join us every other Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm.  For more information, contact Brigitte Vercoutere, Family Program Supervisor at 253.833.2770 or bvercoutere@seattleymca.org.

Healthy Lifestyles : Heart Health
The YMCA Healthy Lifestyles™ program is a ten month, behavior modification program for those seeking to change their lifestyle-based health risk factors. This year, we are proud to be partnering with the Hope Heart Institute who will be providing cardiovascular-specific education modules to Healthy Lifestyles™, and provide regular health screenings for program participants so they can more easily track their progress.For more information about Healthy Lifestyles click here or contact Stephanie Norton-Bredl at snortonbredl@seattleymca.org or 253-833-2770.


Parent Child Cooking Class - Fifi's French Toast
Hands on cooking activities with Brigitte Vercoutere, Family Programs Supervisor.  The kids do the cooking; parents assist and together we have fun preparing dishes you’ll love and recipes to try at home too! Learn how to turn your food prep-time into quality family time.  Next class is Thursday, February 18th, 5:30-6:30pm in the YMCA Kitchen.  Cost is $5. Group Exercise Classes
Zumba Gold, Early Morning Yoga, Sports Conditioning and evening Zumba and Cardio/Strength have been added! Have you wanted to learn how to Step? Or are you just getting started with exercise?  Try one of our 101 classes.  Check out the 2010 Winter Schedule and try a new class for fun!

Exercise and Thrive
This 10-week program is for cancer survivors who are at least 30 days out of active treatment. Classes meet Tues and Thurs 4:30-6:00pm and start March 16th. Developed in partnership with the Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center, this program helps to build strength, balance and endurance.  To find out more contact Lindsey Gregerson.

Teen Programs are taking off!
