YOGA FOR DEPRESSION

Sunday, 3:30-4:45pm | January 4 to Jan 25

Cost, 4 weeks: $16 members, $50 non-members

Explore yoga as an effective tool to help alleviate symptoms of depression and reclaim joy. Practice strengthening postures along with poses that create comfort and ease.

This series will address ways to:

  • Promote self nurturance
  • Open and uplift the body
  • Promote mental & physical letting go
  • Quiet the critical mind

YOGA FOR ANXIETY

Sundays, 3:30-4:45pm | February 15-March 15

Cost, 5 weeks: $20 members, $60 non-members

Awaken your own innate capacity to calm anxiety. This series will address ways to:

  • Release muscle tension
  • Calm the mind
  • Promote present moment awareness
  • Balance the nervous system

All levels of yoga, including beginners, welcome.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Jenny Leung, MA has practiced yoga since 1998 and taught since 2001. As a licensed marriage and family therapist Jenny specializes in the areas of anxiety, depression and trauma recovery. Seeking to bridge yoga and psychology, Jenny is passionate about sharing yoga as therapy to balance the nervous system and to soothe the mind, body, spirit, and emotions.
