YMCA Membership & Discounts

Full-time employees receive a complimentary membership to all 13 branches for themselves and their

family, as well as discounts on programs such as Small Group Training, child care and more. Part-time employees become eligible for complimentary membership after two consecutive years of employment.

Retirement Fund

The Y offers a tax-deferred savings plan that allows employees to save additional pre-tax amounts through payroll deduction. This account is available to all employees of the YMCA of Greater Seattle, regardless of age, service or number of hours worked.

Employees who have worked two years (does not have to be consecutive) at the Y become eligible and are enrolled in a plan where the YMCA of Greater Seattle contributes an amount equal to 12% of the employee’s salary on their behalf.

Paid Trainings

The Y is dedicated to helping you to reach your professional goals through coaching, career pathing and a comprehensive leadership development and certification system that encourages learning at all stages of your career.

You’ll have the opportunity to attend various YMCA learning and development opportunities such as YMCA program training, regional training events, YMCA leadership competency courses and other trainings and conferences. Receive college tuition assistance with up to a maximum of $1,500 per calendar year and college scholarship opportunities.
