Alysha, a first grader at Madrona Elementary, struggled to keep up with her peers during reading time.

With support from donors like you, the Y was able to give Alysha one-on-one support through the Kindergarten Plus Program. By the end of the school year, Alysha improved her reading skills by two reading levels and is now reading at the same level as her peers.

Because of you, Alysha is now more confident, able to do her homework at home successfully and enjoys reading.
