About the Alive & Free Movement
We train community service providers to see their role in treating the disease of violence.
Alive & Free is a leader in an international movement that promotes understanding violence as a prescription. The Alive & Free PrescriptionÔ is a nationally recognized methodology that frames youth violence as a public health issue and empowers individuals to understand their role in treating the disease of violence. The Alive & Free PrescriptionÔ was developed and refined over 23 years by Dr. Joseph Marshall, co-founder and Executive Director of Omega Boys Club/Street Soldiers in San Francisco.
Our trainings empower community service providers to understand violence as a public health issue and to see their role treating the disease of violence.
